Sullivan County Community College Kite Day
The 17th Annual S.C.C.C. KiteDay will take place May 3rd 2008
The college is located in Loch Sheldrake, New York. Right in the heart of the scenic Catskill Mountains. For the sixth year NYKE is officially sponsoring this event. It is our hope to put on a dazzling kiting display for the 1500 plus people that this event draws. The event is located 2.5 hours Southwest of Albany or about 2 hours Northwest of New York City.
We have invited several region kite clubs to join us at this event. There will be displays of giant kites, a Running of the Bols, and a Rokkaku Battle, and more Bol Games. This festival is all about putting on a show for the public, come help us wow the crowd!!
